Pleasant Union's Spotlight on Students

Tiante Washington

Pleasant Union Elementary is proud to announce that Tiante Washington is our “Spotlight on Students”! Tiante is an extra special student at Pleasant Union who displays a love for learning and is truly a student who exemplifies all of the positive character traits we teach each day. Tiante always strives to do her personal best and has developed the talent of learning from her mistakes so that she can become a better student. She is hard working, determined and responsible. Always kind to others, it is not unusual to see her helping out a fellow student in need. She is highly motivated and this motivation has helped her to achieve her goal of improving her reading ability. Tiante always gives 110% to everything she encounters.

A model of good citizenship, she participates in community service projects such as the March of Dimes walk-a-thon. Tiante is involved in cheerleading and gymnastics, but her greatest love is dancing. A member of the Ethyln Lassiter’s Dance Ensemble. She has performed at the CIAA tournament, Rex Hospital’s Elderly Center and Wake Med in the terminally ill children’s ward. At Pleasant Union Elementary we have many extraordinary students, but only one Tiante Washington!
